Coit Tower – A San Francisco skyline landmark, Coit Tower offers great views of the city and bay. Pioneer Park, surrounding it, is home to a flock of wild parrots–subjects of the film “The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill.” Don’t see them? Follow your ears–these guys are capable of making noise that carries!
Castro Theater – Located in one of SF’s most unique neighborhoods, the Castro Theater was built in 1922 in grand style, and is one of the most popular movie houses in the city today. Host to numerous festivals, sing along movies and special events, there’s always something to see here–even if it’s just the outfits of the other patrons!
Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory – While in Chinatown don’t miss your chance to watch a batch of fortune cookies being made right before your eyes–and then taste some for yourself!
Chinatown – Take a walk through San Francisco’s world famous Chinatown, the largest outside of Asia, and experience a bit of the Far East on the West Coast.
