We’re rated the Most Popular Hostel in Los Angeles* for the 7th consecutive year, but we don’t rest on our accolades. We’re always adapting to guest needs, so we’ve installed central air conditioning, remodeled all dorm and private rooms, and designed new bathrooms with walk in showers.

Located in the heart of the entertainment district, just steps from the Walk of Fame, Grauman’s Chinese and Kodak Theatres, there’s never a lack of things to do or see in the area. We offer our own hostel-run tours and activities, so there’s always something going on. We’re also the only hostel in LA offering a shuttle to the beach. But if relaxing is what you need, you can kick up your feet, stretch out and soak up the sun on our garden patio or chill out and make new friends in our comfortable newly renovated lounge.

From our unique, specially-designed ‘privacy pods’ to our popular walking tours of different parts of Los Angeles and pub crawls, USA Hostels Hollywood offers you more than any other hostel in Los Angeles.

“The staff are awesome, especially the volunteer call Oussama, he is an angle, I had to go Panama at night and had no time to send my postcard and he helped me do it, I appreciated that a lot, also the other volunteer, I forgot his name, but he is tall and thin guy with pinky nails, he is so friendly and he shared his delicious pasta with me, also the people in the reception and the manager are all great! I stayed there twice and I had a good time and made friends there easily, highly recommend!!”

“Only here for two nights on a “transit” stay. I wasn’t expecting much but the hostel delivered well for the price. I was in an 8 bed dorm, was given sheets and a towel and a couple of sheets of information. Including a downtown map. The room had two showers and a toilet and was comfortable for the 8 of us (the room was full) the bed was slightly rickety but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good various bread and fruit and you could even make your own pancakes (I did). The laundry is the most reasonable of all the hostels I’ve stayed in $1.75 for the washer and $1.50 for the dryer. There’s a change machine for quarters in the corridor. The staff are really helpful and they do tours of various areas of LA each day. I took the opportunity to attend the evening Hollywood tour with Steven, who was good - lots of fun and had great context photos on an iPad. For the cost it was worth it. Super cheap and comfortable. The hostel was a pleasant surprise during my brief stay in LA.”
